It was snowing hard that night, and he just stood there. He never dared come up and knock on my door. Something urgent came up, I have to go. I thought something urgent had come up at work, but the truth was, he'd rushed off to Lillian.

I stayed angry with him for three whole years, and refused to reach out. But Kevin, he never forgot me. He wrote to me every day, even though I never, never wrote back. Tired?

And there's more. That's enough. I have things to do. I'm leaving. Elena, how can you just sit back and do nothing? Do you know what Kevin did?

The moment his surgery was over, he didn't rest for a second. He arranged the hospital's best private room for Lillian's mother, flew in a top medical team from overseas, and personally oversaw every treatment plan.

Is Kevin already treating Lillian's mother like family? What is he trying to prove?
